The first meeting of the GLHS book club will be held
Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 3:30-4:00pm. We will meet each Wednesday in the library. If you cannot attend the meetings, see Mrs. Gleek or Mrs. Miller for the Google Classroom code so that you can follow along with all announcements.
During GLHS book club meetings, we discuss books we are reading, take field trips to listen to young adult authors, write reviews for forthcoming young adult fiction and prepare for the Central Ohio Battle of the Books.
Book club members can choose to participate in the central Ohio Battle of the Books competition each Spring. This year's competition will be held on April 16th at Columbus School for Girls.
All students at GLHS are invited to attend book club, read books from the list and participate in the battle.

RL Stine at Columbus Library - Main Branch
We will leave school during first block and return at lunch.
Friday, December 5:
Karen McManus - Virtual Speaking Event
Students will be excused from class to come to the library to watch the event online.
