Books: 3 weeks
You may come to the library for replacement machines, and Chromebook help.
Lost Books: Students will be charged the purchase price of any lost book. This fine will not exceed the total of the book. As an alternative, you may purchase a new copy of the book (same format - hardback, etc.) and bring that to the library as a replacement. Often, this second option is cheaper.
We do not charge overdue fines; however, we encourage you to bring back your books before they become overdue so that others have an opportunity to use the resources.
All printing must be for school use

This year marks my 19th year teaching. I have a Bachelors of Science in Education from Ohio University (GO BOBCATS!) and a Masters of Library and Information Science from Kent State University. I am also a Google for Education Level One and Two Certified Teacher and Google for Education Certified Trainer and state of Ohio Master teacher.
I love both technology and young adult literature, so it is no surprise that I LOVE my job! Stop by anytime and we can discuss books!
/ COMING TO THE LIBRARY
Students MUST have a pass from one of their academic teachers to come to the library during their study hall. Students coming from lunch do not need a pass, but the library will close to lunch students when we reach capacity.
Once in the library, students MUST stay in the library until the bell rings unless otherwise noted on the pass. Students in the library from lunch MUST remain in the library until the bell rings at the end of the period.
Upon arriving in the library, students MUST sign in at the welcome desk. It is each student's responsibility to make sure that the library workers enter their name into the system.
Students MUST have a pass to leave the library for any reason. Please see Mrs. Gleek or Mrs. Derflinger for a pass to use the restroom, go to your locker or see a teacher.
Students using the library MUST have something to work on or be willing to quietly read or use a computer so that other students are not distracted.
Forged passes will result in a suspension from the library.
/ LIBRARY BEHAVIOR
Do not access inappropriate websites; doing so will result in a loss of privileges and disciplinary action by the school.
Students are expected to behave in an appropriate manner and be respectful of the staff.
Students will remain in seats until the bell rings and class is dismissed.
Any student who makes the decision to misbehave will be removed from the library for a set amount of time.
